| Established in 1995, the mission of Asia Pacific Post is to:
- Improve the quality of postal services in the Asia-Pacific region
- Enable member postal organisations to enhance their market share
- Address operational, commercial, technical and economic issues of postal services in the region
There are currently 25 postal organisations that are members of Asia Pacific Post with a governing board of 7 members.
The office of Asia Pacific Post is located in Singapore and is staffed by two people - a regional business development manager and a regional operations manager. Both positions are seconded roles for a period of 2-3 years.
The emblem of Asia Pacific Post, represents a modern expression of a bird in flight across a golden sun. Its form using brush calligraphic techniques common to many countries in Asia-Pacific, also gives rise to that of the figure ‘3’ reaching across the world, embracing the commitment of regional postal enterprises to three principal directions:
- Customer oriented service
- World class quality
- Reliability
